Our laser engraving process is ideal for outdoor and high wear application graphics such as floor murals. The main difference between our two processes is that laser engraving involves burning into a tile through the glaze layer, and provides artwork only in grayscale.

Our process always begins with your artwork. Whether a physical photo you hold copyright to, a corporate logo in digital format, or a piece of original artwork you've hand painted, we can take any existing image and prepare it for our digital printing process. Another service we offer includes skillful digital retouching of your artwork. Our head digital imaging technician is a ten year veteran of using Adobe Photoshop for graphic design and photo retouching and even taught classes in digital retouching for two years.

We can do everything from removing blemishes from portraits and eliminating damage from aged photos, to completely removing backgrounds or individuals from photographs. Your artwork will be converted to grayscale.

Once your artwork is prepared, our process involves burning into a specially manufactured tile with a laser. This laser burns through the glaze layer, leaving that level untouched and the graphic below protected.

Once the laser engraving process is complete you have beautifully imaged tile!

In this example, a single tile with a full photo is to be used as a coaster.

For multi-tile mural installation, the remaining step is installation and that's up to you. These tiles should be installed with an industry standard method.

Each tile arrives individually packaged and numbered.

Use our enclosed grid print-out to reassemble the tiles in proper order..
